What can we learn from a Wolf’s strategies for survival, that will help us create a livable world for future generations?
To maximize our chances of keeping a livable world the first priority is to stop extraction of fossil fuels. The most important way to do that is to stop new fossil fuel projects and the key to doing this is to stop the financial companies from funding these projects. This campaign is focused on stopping Wells Fargo financing fossil fuel projects and causing climate change.
The campaign focuses on Wells Fargo because they are the most vulnerable. When we are successful in getting them to agree to stop their funding of the fossil fuel industry, we will then identify the next financial institution to target. The effectiveness of the Wells Fargo campaign will be an important first step to convince the next bank to also stop their funding.
When we convince large banks that it is not in their best interests to continue to support the harm to our communities and the Earth this will make a dramatic difference. What is the best strategy to do this and how will the Wolf help us be successful?
Nature and the Wolf can teach us many valuable lessons. The Wolf would do three critical things to help us survive. The first thing they do is work together as a pack to increase their chance of success. Second, they understand the importance of strategically choosing the weakest prey in a herd. The third strategy they have learned is the importance of sustained attack that wears down their prey vs. one quick sprint.
